About

Old Lace

The color of old lace is a very pale yellowish orange, just like the kind you'd find on an antique tablecloth. In comics it's often used to represent dinosaurs and their scales come in all sorts - from scalyroses (like those found on real-life dinsoasaurus) or even leathery ones! The tune was composed by Isham Jones with lyrics written by Charles Newmen around 1933; nowadays this song can be heard frequently at country clubs because many people know how catchy its melody really sounds when played correctly through pipes organ.
