Linen Color

The color of natural, undyed linen fiber is often referred to as "linen gray." However you may not realize that it's not actually the typical kind of dark grey-brown most people would imagine. The shades can range from ivory or ecru at their lightest and taupe towards oatmeal in darker hues with processing conditions heavily influencing this variation between plants grown on different types of soil

The resulting colors depend largely upon where they grow: those grown near large bodies oft water will develop white flecks within their fibers while those growing closer together under dryer sky
