About

Goldenrod

With all different kinds of light in homes, it could be next to impossible to find the perfect color scheme. Fortunately for us Goldenrod is one of those colors that doesn't look garish or overbearing when used correctly - which makes this task much easier!

A more accurate name would have been "Canary Yellow." It was first recorded back then because its yellow appearance reminded people like-mindedly like how a Canary bird's feathers were gold-colored (hence their original designation). However since newer pigments became available on paints years ago; this old moniker fell out use altogether except among collectors who remember them still by these names from time past.
