About

Chartreuse

Chartreuse is a lively color that combines the energy of green with brightness. It sits in-between yellow and light green on our familiar color wheel, but it's not one for stability - this shade will keep your eyes happy by providing them joy every day! The name "Chartreuse" originates from its resemblance to an old French liqueur called chlorophylle (or sometimes glace de claire). That drink was made primarily out Chartraria beer before spirits were added around 1774; however there are other origins attributed too like cherries plucked at their peak ripeness mixed together over crushed ice cream atop herbal tea leaves steeped
