Super Bowl Sunday is the most watched television event of the year. What many people don't know, however, is that it wasn't always called Super Bowl Sunday. In 1967, NFL Commissioner Pete Rozelle coined the term "The Big Game" to describe what has now become a tradition for families across America on a yearly basis. The first game was played between the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs in Los Angeles on January 15th, 1967, with Green Bay winning 35-10.
